Minimum payment for tours is 10 persons. A personnel fee (including 25,5% VAT) is charged for tours taking place outside of opening hours.
Discount groups: students, pensioners, unemployed persons, and people undergoing military and non-military service.
Prices include entrance tickets and guidance. During opening times, you may remain in the museum independently after the tour without additional charge.
Trip organizers receive a 20% discount on all tours.
There is a 20% language fee for taking the tour in any other language than Finnish or English.

During the tour, you will hear about the history of Turkansaari, all the way from its mercantile use to this day. During the tour, you will learn about life along the Oulujoki River, history of tar, and logging and log-floating culture.

The guide presents the history of Turkansaari and what goes on at the museum today. After the tour, the group can explore the island independently.

Emäntien ällyytyksiä show (Fin. Farmwives’ tales)
The guessing show includes three farmwives explaining the purposes of different items of the period. The audience must guess which farmwife is telling the truth. The Emäntien ällyytyksiä show is both entertaining and educational – suitable for company retreats and older schoolchildren.
