Can I bring a dog or cat to the museum area?
You can bring a dog or cat to the museum if they are harnessed. However, animals must not be taken inside buildings. Please consider other visitors and domestic animals in the museum area, especially in the summers.
Can I eat my own snacks in the museum area?
You can bring food and snacks and eat them, for example, at the firepit site or the play area. Please note that your own food must not be eaten by the café or inside the museum buildings.
May I take photos in the museum area?
It is permitted to take photos in the museum area, but please note that using flash is not permitted inside museum buildings. Read more about filming instructions here.
May I fly a drone in the museum area?
Flying drones in the museum area is not permitted.

May I smoke in Turkansaari?
Smoking in the museum area is not permitted. There is a smoking area on the bridge leading to the Turkansaari Island.
May I light a fire in the museum area?
Fire, lanterns and blazes are not permitted in the museum area. Using grills or the Museum’s barbecue site is not permitted.
