Yli-Juurus House

At the Yli-Juurus House, you learn about the varied history of the Juurus Farm. The farm has been significant in the region of the Oulujoki River for centuries and it survived many hardships. Today, the house has been furnished to depict life in the early 1900s. The house’s yard includes a laundry shed in which textile wash and care methods of the time before washing machines are presented.
